2025 YEAR
IN REVIEW
The Albuquerque Isotopes completed their 22nd season in 2025, a memorable campaign that saw exciting moments on the diamond, tremendous fan
support and fun events hosted at Rio Grande Credit Union Field at Isotopes Park.
For the third straight year, Isotopes Park welcomed the highest cumulative total of fans in the Paci昀椀c Coast League, as 493,849 walked through the
turnstiles in 2025. The cumulative attendance was also 昀椀fth-most in all of Minor League Baseball, tied for the highest Albuquerque has 昀椀nished in 22
seasons (2023 and 2024). Additionally, the Isotopes paced the PCL in average attendance for the fourth consecutive year with 6,765 per contest.
Albuquerque welcomed a 昀椀ve-昀椀gure crowd for six of their 73 home dates. The Friday evening July 4th Celebration drew 12,184 fans, the fourth-largest
crowd in MiLB.
The Isotopes also drew their 12 millionth fan in team history on Saturday, September 20 vs. Reno. Bo Nash, a resident of Angel Fire, NM, who was
attending his second Isotopes game, was the lucky fan. The club has now welcomed a cumulative total of 12,014,216 fans over 22 seasons.
The Party Animals brought their world-famous brand of “Banana Ball” to Isotopes Park for the second-straight year from May 24-25. The Party Animals
played two games against “Banana Ball’s” newest team, the Texas Tailgaters, as over 25,000 fans attended the two contests. Party Animals pitcher
Drew Gillespie — an Albuquerque native, 2017 Sandia High School graduate and University of New Mexico baseball alum — pitched in both games
and helped close out a Party Animals victory in game one Saturday night.
The Isotopes also held their annual Albuquerque Professional Baseball Hall of Fame ceremony as Franklin Stubbs, former Albuquerque Dukes
out昀椀edler and 昀椀rst baseman (1983-85) and Isotopes hitting coach (2013-14), and A.J. Ellis, former Isotopes catcher (2009-11 and 2014), were inducted
on Saturday, August 2 prior to Dukes Retro Night.
On the 昀椀eld, the Isotopes ranked 昀椀rst in the PCL in home runs (199), triples (63), total bases (2,480), slugging percentage (.482), and OPS (.846). Their
triples total also led all of Minor League Baseball, and were tied for most home runs in the minors alongside Charlotte (White Sox) and Omaha (Royals).
Eleven Isotopes players made their Major League debut with the Colorado Rockies (Chase Dollander, Zac Veen, Braxton Fulford, Zach Agnos, Juan
Mejia, Ryan Rolison, Carson Palmquist, Yanquiel Fernandez, Warming Bernabel, Dugan Darnell and Kyle Karros), tying the team record set in 2016.
Overall, 66 players suited up for the Isotopes in 2025.
Shortstop Ryan Ritter (twice) and 昀椀rst baseman Keston Hiura (once) were honored as Paci昀椀c Coast League Player of the Week. Ritter was also named
Paci昀椀c Coast League Player of the Month for May after slashing .381/.445/.918 with 10 doubles, three triple, 12 homers and 31 RBI. Ritter compiled a
21-game hit streak and an 11-game extra-base hit streak, the longest in the Paci昀椀c Coast League since 2019.
