2025 ISOTOPES FIELD STAFF
Hoshi Mizutani
Mason Rook
Athletic Trainer
Physical Performance Coach
Hoshi Mizutani enters his 昀椀fth year as the
Athletic Trainer with Albuquerque after
having previously served in the same
capacity for the Rockies Double-A af昀椀liate,
the Hartford Yard Goats, in 2018 and
2019. Mizutani was a graduate assistant
athletic trainer for the Portland State
University softball program in 2014-15.
He also assisted with men’s and women’s
cross country teams in the fall, football in
the summer, and assisted at the athletic
treatment center during the academic year.
Mason Rook begins his third year as
the Physical Performance Coach for the
Isotopes. Rook, in his 6th year with the
Rockies, began his tenure with Colorado in
the same role with Short-Season Boise in
2019. He was then assigned to the same
role for the Double-A Hartford Yard Goats
for 2021 and 2022. A native of Greenville,
TX, Rook earned a Bachelors degree from
Texas A&M in 2017. He then went on to earn
his Masters from the University of Denver in
2018.
Luke Schroering
Assistant Athletic Trainer
Luke Schoering begins his second year
with the Rockies organization and secondstraight season with the Isotopes after
serving in the same role in 2024. He
previously worked as the Athletic Trainer at
Floyd Central High School. He graduated
from the University of Indianapolis in 2023.
